One of the originators of the current psychedelic folk scene, Weeks’ latest record is a masterful accomplishment.
Weeks begins with minor-keyed acoustic ballads and builds elaborately arranged songs, which incorporate multiple instruments with delicate subtlety. Blood Is Trouble revels in the beauty of melancholia.
