Linda Smith is mostly known for the dark pop ballads she has released on her own tapes, and record labels like Harriet and Feel Good All Over. However, as part of Yours Truly, she goes in a much brighter direction. Yours Truly sounds like the Human League album you wish they made, with each song a complete synth-pop masterpiece. It's like having an eighties new wave album with no filler. Granted, that's nearly impossible to believe, but don't you think music has progressed to the point where anything is possible.
